However, after awhile, when a November CPM update was made, some folks recognized this sad reality. Every month the views go up and up and the rates get worse and worse.
Notice the dissipating effect on the CPM: $41.46 in August (4 hours), $11.50 in September, $8.89 in October and November is even limper at $4.15 in November.
Some
stricken PAAer's such as Sam Elder are seen trying to prop this
fledgling site up with the gimmicks that he outlines in his post New Rate Updates Raising Amounts and his subsequent comments.
Now
that is one load in the bowl. This is not the invisible kind that one
shoots swiftly down and through the pipes. You know the kind that I'm
talking about. The one that leaves no evidence of existence and makes
one wonder if they indeed made a deposit. I think this commenter sums it
up accurately."It’s a sad day in “The Bowl” to see this post. Many people have spent a lot a lot of time writing and working on these sites and this kind of irresponsible post puts that work in jeopardy. But when it’s stuck to the top of the bowl, there is not much a plunger can do.”This is the kind of crap that a Biker, Goblin, Strainer and sadly not even a Plunger can even force down the drain. A turd of this nature is thick, sticky and pungent. In reality what needs to happen is that, The Master Plumber needs to come and drain this post and then condemn the whole PostAnyArticle (PAA) site. Unfortunately, the question is where do you unload it. The runoff from this sewage leaking plant has already infested the red and black pastures of FullofKnowledge and ExpertsPages.

Most people understand how the sites get paid. If the admin wants to clarify that or if there is a well informed post that explains the dynamics of the system that may well be different, if it is done occasion. However, statements like the ones below contained in one post and its comments by the same writer go too far and jeopardize the sites. A lot of people have worked very hard posting a lot of content on the sites. All it it takes is the advertisers to get bad vibes for them to shut off their revenue valves and then people will get hurt.
Further, it breeds more of the same irresponsible behavior. Just yesterday there was another post basically telling people to click away without rhyme or reason, because the admin had software to shut it off if it seemed excessive. How it was presented was false, complete nonsense and again encouraged an end of the month ad clicking spree.
I know some some sites and now PAA is among them that give people the false belief that they are free to post whatever they want, whenever they want and however they want and expect to get paid. I continue to believe this is irresponsible. There are so many new posts on PAA that are full of unfounded statements where people, companies and can get hurt. For example we caught someone stating unequivocally that the Crazy Texan was selling FoK. Obviously, we have an interest in that so we called the writer out on it. Of course they could not substantiate their position and then edited the piece.
Now back to the topic at hand. If the Admin wants to put his stamp of approval on this kind of post and these sorts comments or ones where people joke about their baby clicking ads and coyly encouraging people to click, maybe he can just get it out in the open that he wants and approves of this sort of behavior. Then everyone will free, to at will, post, comment and publicly remind people however they sit fit to click the ads.
Some Quotes from PAA Post and the Comments that Followed
“ADVERTISERS WISH TO PAY VERY FAT CHECK TO THE SITE THAT HAS MORE CLICKS ON ADS PER VIEWS.
If this page, this post you are reading right now has 10 views and 9 clicks, advertisers will pay much, much, much more per each view. So instead of 4.11 $ per 1000 views you can get 41 $ per 1000 views.”
“so THESE BEAUTIFUL ADS YOU SEE ON EACH PAGE OF THE SITE ARE FOR EVERY SINGLE USER AND MEMBER OF THE SITE.”
“This disgraceful self serving post is designed to add few more $ in YOUR and other writers, moderators, admins pocket. It doesn’t serve only me, but also every single writer of this site.”
“Lets keep doing the ad magic and try to raise the $ per view as high as possible.”
“LET’S STOP HOPINH AND START ACTING.. Take action now… it is impossible not to mention the RED TEXT in the middle of the post… I wonder what you can find behind it”
“You will definitely love it.. welcome and keep noticing the moving images on top and bottom of the page…. Do not forget about blue words within posts… Pay attention to everything”
My views have dropped by more than 50%. This after steadily growing, mainly through search engine traffic, for months now.
That’s about what I am seeing as well, which is weird after having pretty consistent views for the last two/three months.
